Smoked Beef Brisket and Onion Roll

  • 1 Speedibake Soft Turkish Round Lunch Roll, buttered on inside
  • 140g wood smoked brisket, chopped
  • 1 slice provolone
  • 3 crumbed onion rings
  • 1 leaf iceberg, sliced
  • 2 sprigs dill
  • 2 sprigs flatleaf parsley, stem removed
  • ¼ cup pickled daikon, julienned
  • 1 tbsp bourbon BBQ sauce
  • 2 slices tomato
  • 3 discs dill pickles
  • 1 tbsp ranch dressing

  1. Preheat grill to high heat. On a lined tray top brisket with provolone and grill until the cheese has melted.
  2. Preheat fryer to 170 then fry the onion rings until golden, remove, season, and set aside.
  3. Heat non-stick frying pan to medium heat, grill Soft Turkish Rounds on buttered sides until golden and toasted.
  4. In a bowl mix together the salad of iceberg, dill, parsley and daikon.
  5. To build: Spread the base of the Turkish Round Roll with barbecue sauce, top with cheesy brisket, tomato, salad mix, pickles and onion rings.
  6. On the top of the roll spread the ranch, then add to the top of the burger. Serve immediately for best results.
