Tuna Poke Bowls

This Spring try making Kraft Heinz Tuna Poke Bowls for all to enjoy, featuring Heinz® Avocado Pulp

  • 430g (2 cups) sushi rice, rinsed
  • 2 tablespoons sushi seasoning
  • 500g GREENSEAS® Tuna, flaked
  • 1 green shallot, thinly sliced
  • 60ml LEA & PERRINS® Worcestershire Sauce
  • 2 teaspoons sesame oil
  • 60ml white wine vinegar
  • 40g moist coconut, lightly toasted
  • 100g GOLDEN CIRCLE™ Pineapple Pieces in Syrup
  • 200g WATTIE'S® Frozen Peas, defrosted
  • 100g Heinz® Chunky Avocado Pulp
  • Pickled ginger, to serve
  • HEINZ® [SERIOUSLY] GOOD® Original Mayo, to serve
  • Shallow-fried wonton wrappers, to serve (optional)

  1. Cook rice following the packet directions.
  2. Stir in the sushi seasoning.
  3. Combine tuna, shallot, Worcestershire sauce, sesame oil, vinegar and coconut in a glass or ceramic bowl. Set aside for 5 minutes to marinate.
  4. Divide the rice among bowls. Divide pineapple and peas equally among bowls. Top with tuna mixture and avocado pulp.
  5. Serve with the pickled ginger, a drizzle of mayo and wonton wrappers (optional)
