Brioche Breakfast Burger

  • 1 Tip Top Brioche Style Bun 
  • 2 rashers of streaky maple bacon 
  • 120g beef patty 
  • 1 tbsp butter 
  • 1 slice of cheddar cheese 
  • 1 egg 
  • ½ avocado, sliced 
  • 2 tbsp chipotle mayo 
  • 1 oak lettuce leaf 
  • Salt and pepper, to taste 


  1. Cook the bacon in a non-stick pan over medium heat until crispy. Set aside. 
  2. In the same pan, melt the butter and cook the beef patty over medium-high heat for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until cooked. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Top the patty with a slice of cheddar cheese and allow it to melt. 
  3. In a separate pan, fry the egg over medium heat until the yolk is cooked to your desired consistency. 
  4. Toast the Brioche Bun until lightly golden, spread the chipotle mayo on the bottom half of the bun then add the lettuce leaf followed by the beef patty with cheese on top of the lettuce. 
  5. Top the patty with the bacon, sliced avocado and the fried egg. 
  6. Place the top half of the bun on top of the ingredients. 
  7. Serve immediately for best results 

Note: If you prefer the bacon to be crispy, you can cook it in the oven at 200°C for 10-15 minutes.
